WOW. It's a really powerful cover!

Lol, I always thought that Alyssa Milano and Drew Barrymore share a lot of similarities in their mimic. This picture is SO Drew for me. xD

But great cover! It really looks like Phoebe gets posessed by a foreign soul. Sure this woman is Melinda Warren?

Wild theory: Phoebe got stuck in an astral vision, being trapped in the body of an accused witch back in the Salem trials.

Holy crap, season 10 covers are really outstanding!

The dress definitely screams Salem (or at least the past) so I can't wait. And yeah, a possession storylike seems likely.

Didn't they usually hang accused witches in Salem instead of burning them? I mean didn't people read "The Crucible" in high school. I know it was common to burn the accused in countries in Europe but never in the new world.

Well when I look at the picture looks like the clothing is from the late 18th centurary

Yes they were usually hanged, but Melinda Warren was burned, so it's always been true that they did both in the Charmed-verse.

In true witch mythology, witches were drowned or hanged. I dont know where the burning witches came from, I know from people who follow alot of witch lores say hanging was the most common.

The burning witches mythology came from Europe were during the XIV and the XV-XVI century witches but also heretics, jews, homosexuals...) were burned at the stake, like in France or Germany. In North America there are cases but not related to witchcraft but more around slave revolt plots.

And during the salem witch trials witches were hanged and not burned.

Today in wild speculation, maybe it IS Coop whose killed, and Phoebe in her attempts to turn back time to bring him back accidentally ends up switching bodies with an 17th or 18th century witch?

Nice theory GC! Which makes me wonder if this is one of Phoebe's past lives or something? Or perhaps she tried Paige's body switching spell to find out some information in the past related to the soul killing athame?? Hmm...soul switch...soul athame...hehe either way I am too excited.

Oh and is it just me or does all of this kinda remind you of Morality Bites? Someone Phoebe knows is close to is killed as speculated in the issue 5 cover. And now this cover of a witch(or Phoebe?) burning at stake. All we need now is Pratt's past life, lol.

Not to mention...Prue is a blonde!

Cyma I was thinking the same thing! Phoebe thinks she averted the future by saving Elise in Morality Bites Back, it'd be a good twist if it turned out that "dear friend" was actually Coop.

I know right? Maybe the whole 'S10 is going to be dark like season 4' could have something like Phoebe turning evil? I always felt cheated with the dark Phoebe arc because of backstage conflict leading to the very rushed plot so if the comics could rectify that, it would be awesome!

Wouldn't even mind a dark Wyatt storyline because of the way season 6 went. Though now with kids...wouldn't Evil Phoebe or any evil Charmed Ones try to corrupt them too? Something also never addressed on the show.

Could be a time travel spell gone wrong, or some sort of soul switching thing like we saw in 4. I guess we have to wait until the summary comes out. Pat said on twitter that this one was a weird one to write.

This cover is amazing, it is the best one in my opinion.

Both burning and hanging were used in the Charmed-verse, despite what happened in real life. Melinda was burned, while hunters attempted to hang the sisters when they went back in time in season 3.

But who really cares about how witches were killed?? This cover is amazing.. and a burning witch is much more shocking than a hanged one.. IMO

When i first seen this cover i assumed melinda warren maybe introduced in the comics. Paige never really got a chance to meet her. Smh. Anyway, it shall be interesting to see what the storyarc is about.

Paige and Melinda met in the afterlife, when Paige was recruiting all Warren witches to fight Neena.
Anyway, every cover for season 10 so far is AMAZING! I should probably print them all out and hang them on the walls in my house.

Totally random but I e been wondering why the covers tend to be Phoebe, Paige, and Piper in that order and then I realized that's the order of the credits from season 4 onward...
