Guys we should do something about the sales. Not just to get a seadon 11 but season 10 is as good as the early seasons of the series its deserve bigger auidence. And when cbs posted something about charmed comics a lot of fan havent even heard about it. We should promote it somehow on facebook and twitter and explain them what the comic is about. or I dont know... something. And I know a lot of fan say that they dont want to read comics they want charmed movie or a season 9 with the original cast or the next generation series, but they have to understand CBS is a profit oriented company, the would NEVER order a revival or make a movie with a series that have this small audience in comics, if they get a lot of money from the comics they would realize how powerful the fandom is

I'm not sure how much the comics could affect us getting a movie or another series, but I do know that people watching Charmed on Netflix(Charmed was the second most binge show!) made CBS announce plans for a reboot. But then the reboot was cancelled :-(

But it's good to know there are still Charmed Conventions going on which a large number of fans attend and cast(even Shannen) are a big part of. Facebook and Twitter is full of pictures of those things. I personally feel like those things should've gotten us a TV movie or a min-series or a reunion. I have no clue why CBS besides comics and books, doesn't want to do anything, even when Netflix proved that people are still watching and loving Charmed.

Because if someone buy a charmed comic cbs gets profit... thats how it affects the process, they dont get money from conventions at all

There are already Facebook and Twitter pages for the Charmed comics. They're a big part of Charmed Wiki and there's quite a bit of discussion online. Search Charmed on Amazon books and the trade paperbacks are the first things to come up. CBS has even posted stuff about the comics on the official Charmed FB page.
I'm all for the comics getting seen more, I'm just not sure what there is that hasn't already been done.

Despite all of that, why doesn't CBS make a reunion or just a mini-series even instead of a reboot?

@Scott21: But isn't it sort of free publicity with conventions? And it also shows we're all still interested? And they could make much more profit if they focus on not only the comics and books, but a sort of movieor mini-series based on it?

I get why some fans don't get into comics. I love X-men and watch every animated TV show and movie that comes out. But comics? Couldn't get into them no matter how hard I tried. Same with Buffy comics. So I'm surprised I got into Charmed comics.

It doesn't matter how much we promote the comics. I can guess 95% of fans are just too lazy to read because it takes them away from modern technology unless they buy the digital issues. As we are but a very small loyal 5% we take the time out to read the comics. Everything has gone digital and on top of that people have classified comics as "nerd material" and people care about image more these days than ever before and don't want to be labels. So the laziness on reading and their public images are what happens to make people drop a continuation in a comic world.

I don't think that's true, I think it's just a matter of finding the right medium for Charmed. As much as I like the comics, I think Charmed was just better as tv show and that's why a lot people still watch it on Netflix but don't follow the comics. I'm fine with it ending with season 10. We got 8 season on tv and seven more years of stories throught the comics, that's way more than a lot of other shows get..

Julie -- That's not the case at all. The problem is that people don't go to their stores are pre-order. Any shop can order these books, and any shop will pre-order any book in Diamond previews.

Comics can't replace a TV series. I think that's what a lot of fans are thinking. But they forget, that these comics are able to enrich the series universe.
Unfortunately the international advertising is much lesser. I'm glad that I've followed it from the beginning so I have the chance to get the comics even in far far away Germany. ^^

Why do I want to go to the store and order them instead of the store already having them available on the shelf Pat?

Oh my... that is the most normal thing in the world. Every book store in every country handles it like this. That's real life, not Internet.

I don't understand what you're asking, Julie. It's not about "wanting" that. It's about some stores know that certain titles sell less, so they will order it if people ask for it. That's how comic shops work, not just for smaller press titles, but even for titles at Marvel or DC. Comic books live or die off of customer pre-orders.

Same with literally any other kind of store. I walk into Best Buy, want a certain item -- especially entertainment -- that isn't there? I tell them, they order it, I get it, happy times.

Had to Google Archai and Efreet. Very interesting.
I love that in season 10 we're still getting new beings :P

Their other stores that sell comic books beside just comic book stores Pat. My local Hastings Entertainment store used to have them but don't sell them anymore. If I'm looking for a certain entertainment item I rather go to Walmart,Target or Hastings first rather than Best Buy.
